We had a really nice stay for our last night of our holiday at Bilderberg Hotel De Bovenste Molen in Venlo. the hotel was clean and the rooms were well-equipped with beautiful views. Situated in a secluded location surrounded by nature, the property offered a tranquil setting. it's conveniently close to Limburg, a lovely lake, and a fantastic restaurant. the breakfast was substantial and the check-in process was quick.

Staff, especially restaurant staff were friendly and knowledgeable

Rooms were a bit dated although comfortable. Hotel bar wasn't open at the weekend, given this is not a city centre location, alternatives were very limited.

Excellent facilities. My friend and i were very tired and hungry after 2 days of travel and even though we arived very early in the morning our rooms were ready and we were allowed to use it. many hotels are strict about when guests can access the rooms. Breakfats was excellent, a wide choice and plenty of it. Chef came out at the end and asked everyone if it was ok. This hotel is excellently located in a rural settings on the edge of a forest and besiee a beautiful lake. I love staying here and the price is very reasonable for such a hotel.

Night satff was a little unfriendly. We needed an extra bed made up and we had to be quite assertive to get this done.

The room I got was well-equipped and modern, with a spacious, very clean bathroom. The breakfast was rich and included a wide selection of delicious food.The property's location was beautiful, situated on the outskirts of the city in a green area.

The enviroment

Nature around Hotel is really nice. In general Hotel is really good value for money. If you like hotel out of city, in park, with possibilities for walking and bike riding - it's perfect place.

Restaurant i think need to be fixed. Breakfast was cute and nice, but for dinner we move out for city restaurants, because local one did not impress us.

This place offers a fantastic location just outside the city center and serves a varied breakfast along with brilliant food.

Secluded location, welcome base for discovering Venlo. It also was in front of a lake and a forest.

The hotel offers a romantic and clean environment with a lovely view of the lake and surrounding woodland. The bed is extremely comfy, and its beautiful location near the lake, 5-star and Michelin-starred restaurants, and nature make it an amazing place to stay. Plus, it's conveniently close to the town center.

Food in the restaurant is not great at all and could definitely be improved upon - not enough healthy choices. Very bad 'asian crab' salad which turned out to be a massive pile of fake crabstick in mayonnaise. Soups were good though.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was beautiful and tranquil, nestled in the middle of the forest, making it perfect for hiking and biking. The service was excellent, with room service, car hire, and other amenities readily available. The staff were really helpful, particularly Ralph, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The dining experience was top-notch, with the quality, originality, and presentation of the dishes deserving congratulations. the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I highly recommend this place to my family and friends. They will surely enjoy the stunning location, excellent service, and the range of facilities offered.

Lovely location and some of the rooms are excellent and reception staff very helpful and trying very hard to make for a pleasant stay.

First room we had on ground floor felt very damp, and had to move to another room. Neither room had a working jacuzzi bath when mentioned to reception told none of them have worked for ages. Used the swimming pool which had a lot of plasters etc at the bottom of it. Dinner in the evening took nearly an hour for starter to arrive and the waiting staff although pleasant are very slow. Breakfast again in attentive staff more interested in re laying tables for lunch. Very nice hotel once but feels like standards have slipped.
